Welcome to Gdańsk, city of freedom and solidarity. We would like to invite you to the journey around the modern european metropolis, where history meets innovation and sport goes together with sightseeing hand in hand. We would like to show you how beautiful our city is in just about 3 to 5 hours, depending on how experienced runner you are.

The route starts and ends near AMBEREXPO Exhibition and Convention Centre and Stadion Energa Gdańsk – one of the most beautiful football stadiums in Europe. Along the road you will pass European Solidarity Centre and beautiful Długa Street with famous Neptune Statue. You will run through all the oldest city districts. You will have an opportunity to see modern sport hall Ergo Arena just before you will reach seaside – Brzeźno Pier and green Ronald Reagan’s Park, full of enchanting alleys. You will be able to take a deep breath and feel a sea breeze, which can be most helpful on this stage of event – after 30th kilometre.

Whole route is great if you want to beat your personal best result. But it is even better if your goal is to experience something extraordinary, if you want to connect sport with tourism. We are more than sure that if you finish 5. Gdańsk Marathon, you will be back to our city. Soon. Repeatedly.

It is not a suprise, that our run have been voted the best marathon in Poland by the runners thelselves for three times. Great organisation of our event and safety of participants in our number one priority. But that is what you have to find out yourself!
